A high protein diet is a diet consisting of mainly foods that have large amounts of protein. While on this type of diet, 30 to 50 percent of a person's calorie intake comes from a protein source. Eggs

Fish

    Eating fish on a high protein diet is a great choice. It contains large amounts of protein as well as the beneficial fatty acid omega 3, which is good for your heart.

Meat

Poultry
